I'm a soil microbiologist and biogeochemist (Twitter) interested in the stoichiometric theory and metabolic theory of ecology for microbes. I like to apply concept of stoichiometry to predict soil ecosystem functions from sub-cellular to ecosystem scales. I also want to apply metabolic theory of ecology using thermodynamics and the concept of energy to predict metabolic activity of microbes in different environmental settings. I'm also interested in plant-soil relationships in natural and agricultural systems, because this is very important to improve plant fitness and crop production, soil health, and reduce potential environmental pollution in the era of climate change.
